The Office’s Scranton Strangler
Yep. Totally solved the identity of the Scranton Strangler.
Theory: The Scranton Strangler was not actually caught and is, in fact, a cast member of the show!
FACT: Toby admitted after the Scranton Strangler trial ended that he was not sure anymore that they had sentenced the right man to death:
In the episode “Michael’s Last Dundies” Toby, whilst receiving his Extreme Repulsiveness Award, uses his acceptance speech as a platform to announce to the audience that he was part of the jury that found the alleged Scranton Strangler guilty and sentenced him to death, but he is “not so sure he’s guilty anymore”. No more is revealed as Toby is cut off by Dwight, who begins playing “Oh Yeah” by Yello over his acceptance speech.
FACT: The Scranton Strangler is first mentioned in season 6 episode 17 “The Delivery”.
Gabe is introduced 2 episodes earlier in “Sabre”.
This would be an awesome revelation, excuse me, will be an awesome revelation.
HENCE, Gabe is the Scranton Strangler!
